Volunteers Needed for Autumn Starfest

Hi All,

The AAA needs volunteers to help us at Autumn Starfest on Sept 7. Be part of an event that lets us show the night sky to several hundred people. Please contact us at [email protected] today.

Where? Sheep Meadow, Central Park

Time? 6:00p -10:00p

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Set up tables, wing banners, lanterns
Assist some telescope owners with their equipment from the parking lot to the lawn
Distribute glow necklaces
Staff raffle tables
Tape glow sticks to telescope tripods
Assist in getting names, general info of raffle winners
Break down after event

At the end of the evening, we are happy to give you a $10 Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks card.
