AAASky Podcast Returns

The AAA is proud to announce the launch of the second season of AAASky, the Club's official podcast.

Beginning on October 17, the monthly audio podcast will feature new interviews with astronomers, educators, historians, telescope makers, astrophotographers and the occasional astro fashionista.

Last Spring in Season 1, hosts Irene Pease and Stanley Fertig explored with their guests brown dwarfs and black holes, Mars landings and astro fashion, galactic cannibalism and ethnoastronomy, to name but a few of the diverse topics covered.

Season 2 will feature new co-host Maggie Machinsky, along with Stanley. Club member Maggie is an award winning photographer whose work has been featured by Nikon and National Geographic, and who juggles her time between civil engineering and photography, all while being an active member of the AAA and its astrophotography group. You can see some of her work at maggiemachinsky.com.
