Message from AAA’s President

Hello Astronomy Community!

 

As May begins, AAA moves that much closer to its 100th anniversary, and I celebrate my 2nd anniversary as president of the organization. I could not be more proud of what we have achieved, and what we will achieve.

 

I will keep this month’s column short and to the point, as any AAA anniversary is about the association and not the individual. 

 

So… I hope that you all join us for Spring Starfest this coming Saturday, May 7, 2022. Or, attend our final lecture of the season on Tuesday, May 10. Come out and observe with us throughout the city, during one of our many public viewing events. Register for our classes. Borrow our telescopes from the Brooklyn Public Library. Attend our Astrophotography meetups. Volunteer as part of the AAA community. And partake in all that we have to offer.

 

AAA’s Board and Executive Committee, along with all of the volunteers, wants to wish everyone a happy spring and hope to share our community with you. Please join us in doing so.
