Message from AAA’s President
Happy October everyone!
My favorite month of the year – the temperature is divine. The leaves turn a rainbow of colors. Halloween is coming soon to joyfully frighten us. And the AAA Lecture Series returns!
That’s right, on October 11th, and then each second Tuesday of the month through May 2023, you have the opportunity to partake in spectacular lectures online, where everyone can tune in to learn, be entertained, join in a scientific community, and support the sharing of knowledge. And the 2022 lecture series kicks off with a great one – about none other than the James Webb Space Telescope!
You can register here and be sure to go to AAA.org to see all of our upcoming lectures, as well as everything else that AAA offers – classes, observing, astrophotography, providing NYC with an observatory, and so much more!
If you are not a member, please consider becoming one. If you are a member, thank you for your support. And if you are interested in volunteering and/or donating, as we are an all-volunteer organization that is always looking for additional helping hands, please reach out.
Enjoy the last quarter of the year. And let’s hope that humanity discovers and embraces peace, while letting science and logic prevail.
Brian Berg, President
