As your outgoing Chair of the Board of Directors, it has been a privilege and honor to serve you and our unique membership charitable nonprofit corporation (also known as our club) as we approach our 100th anniversary. As an all-volunteer member organization, we are much stronger and more successful working together. Thus, I thank each of you for your membership, support, passion, and dedication to promote astronomy and share the wonders of the cosmos you enjoy.

That said, I invite you to take one or more of these action steps as we move forward:

  1. Please review our website and volunteer to serve on a project and/or committee of your interest.
  2. Donate to AAA to support our programming and the expansion of our reach.
  3. Contact our new VP of Membership and Marketing, Lana Jokhan, with any questions, including how to become involved: [email protected]
  4. Attend an observing session or online class, take a telescope training course, view our stunning astrophotography from our remote telescopes and beyond, or submit an article to Eyepiece.

Please save the date and attend our 2025 Star-BQ at Pioneer Works on August 24, 2025, to meet your fellow stargazers.
