Join us for the last lecture in our 2022-23 AAA Lecture Series with speaker Dr. Sarah Horst from Johns Hopkins University. The topic will be: Toxic Titan.
The Amateur Astronomers Association Lecture Series is on the second Tuesday of the month, from October–May (unless indicated), beginning at 7:00 PM Eastern time.
Lectures are free and open to the public, but registration via Zoom is required.
Dr. Horst is an Associate Professor in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Johns Hopkins University where she works to understand the formation and composition of planetary atmospheric hazes. Her primary research interest is atmospheric chemistry. In particular, the complex organic chemistry occurring in the atmosphere of Titan.
