In this engaging live stream, the GRT team unveils its new telescope, “Gateway South,” situated in Chile’s dark, high-altitude skies. This state-of-the-art rig opens up a whole new perspective, capturing the cosmic marvels hidden from view in the Northern Hemisphere.
AAA President Alfredo Viegas and astrophotographers Stan Honda and Preston Stahly will be joined by special guest Antoine Ribaut, a dark-sky advocate and fine art astrophotographer, to demonstrate this new rig, share early stunning images, and explore iconic Southern Hemisphere sights.
