See the stars from Brooklyn! In conjunction with the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy, the Amateur Astronomers Association of New York will set up hi power telescopes for views of the moon when visible, and stars and planets in the summer sky. This event is free and you do not need tickets.

Directions to Pier 1:
By public transportation take the A train to High Street-Brooklyn Bridge (exit to the rear if coming from Manhattan). Walk down Cadman Plaza, which curves to the left (Old Fulton Street) to the waterfront. The entrance to Pier 1 is just to the left of the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory.
Weather Prospects
Cancellations due to weather will be posted on the AAA Google Calendar and the AAA Facebook page. You can expect it to be canceled if the clouds are thick or if it’s raining. Let’s hope for clear skies!
