Venus Elongation

My family and I decided to escape the madness of the Bronx that the coronavirus pandemic was creating.

We retreated to our second home upstate in Gardiner, New York.

I knew that Venus was at elongation on March 23 so after sunset I set up my camera and tripod on my driveway. As the sun set and twilight faded I began taking making exposures.

The evening was clear and comfortable at 45 degrees F.
